Evano Gucciardo aka @evog

Bio)

“My name is Evano Gucciardo and I am a Commercial and Editorial photographer based in Rochester, NY. I have been shooting digitally since 2008 which started off in the Automotive market. My friends and I were always running around with our cars so they were always around to shoot. I now freelance for a number of brands both inside and outside of the Automotive industry.”

1) What drew you to automotive photography and videography?

“I've always had a passion for cars. When I was younger my Father always got us the racing game and model cars so naturally I was drawn at an early age. Quickly in my mind I knew I wanted to do something in the Automotive field which eventually took me down the art path.”

2) Who is your community and what is your relationship with them?

“I wouldn't really say I have a community since I am all over the scene for commercial and editorial work but I would be more known in the automotive community.”

3) Who or what has had the biggest influence on the way you approach your work?

“To many to list names but other Commercial Automotive photographers. I would study brochures back when I was first starting out hoping that one day my work could be commercially polished.”

4) What drives your creativity?

“I just love the process of working on an image from start to finish and seeing what it could become. These ideas spawn from moods/ music/ vibe/ influences and I think it's really cool to be able to express those feelings.”

5) What has been the most rewarding thing your work has given you?

“The most rewarding thing I think is the fact that most of the time it doesn't feel like work. Sometimes on certain projects you have those pinch yourself moments like is this real?”

6) What lasting effect do you hope to leave behind on the world with your creativity?

“I hope I can at least inspire and also help bring entertainment to others one photo or video at a time.”
